What We Believe

Our Mission

The mission of the ARC is to be a church founded on principles taught by Jesus and lived by the apostles. Our passion is to spread the salvation message of repentance, baptism in Jesus name, and infilling of the Holy Spirit (John 3:5, Acts 2:38, & Acts 19:5-6) across our community, city, and world.

The Bible

There is only one God. As the Bible teaches, we believe that Jesus Christ is the human embodiment of God. Jesus is fully man and fully God. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 9:6, Isaiah 44:6, Isaiah 46:9, John 1:1;14, John 10:30, Colossians 2:9)

Salvation

Everyone has sinned and is in need of salvation. The Bible states that the price for sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross, and through His sacrifice we can have eternal life. There is a plan given in Acts 2:38 that gives us access to eternal life.

Repentance- Repentance is turning away from a life of sin and giving your life completely to God.

Water Baptism- This is a command to every believer that they should be baptized in the Name of Jesus.

The Gift of the Holy Ghost- The Holy Ghost, or Holy Spirit, is alive and active in our world today. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a promise for all believers.

Through repentance, baptism in Jesus Name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost we are given eternal life with Jesus. (John 3:5, Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Acts 4:10-12, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 19:6, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 4:5, 2 Corinthians 7:10)

Spiritual Disciplines

As Christians, we should continue to grow in relationship with Jesus and be a light for this world around us. We believe that prayer, Bible reading, and fasting are foundational principles that help mature our spirituality and develop our Christian attributes.
